If the camera you bought use the fixed lens. So you can not adjust the lens. Under this condiciton you have to adjust the distance between the camera and the viewing angle acoedingly.

Please note: if a camera fixed in a room it will be not a good idea to make it face to door or window. Although all the most the cameras have the function of BLC and WDR, the function is not very ideal, You may can not see perple’s face clearly under this condition.

The dome cameras usually fixed on the roof and at the corner.
